- Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Ahsan Maksud graduated from Chittagong Medical College in 1999. He obtained Mphil in Psychiatry in 2006, FCPS in 2010.
- He got higher training from ST. Catherine's College, Oxford, the UK in 2011. He got training from Porter Brook Clinic under Prof. Kevan Wylie in 2012.
