Cardiac Imaging

ECG

ECG is used for recording the small electric waves being generated during heart activity, a simple way of diagnosing heart conditions. In Padma Diagnostic Centre Limited we use Nihon Khoden Cardiofax 1350K for ECG.

Color Doppler/Echo Cardiogram

It is an established non–invasive technique, predominantly to study blood flow. Our GE/Vivid -7 gives 4D image that looks like an actual Heart. An echocardiogram is a test in which ultrasound is used to examine the heart. Padma Diagnostic Centre Limited offers far more sophisticated and advanced imaging. This is known as two- dimensional (2-D) Echo and is capable of displaying a cross-sectional “slice” of the beating heart, including the chambers, valves and the major blood vessels that exit from the left and right ventricle. Our multi-dimensional formats clearly convey cardiac anatomy, synchronicity and viability.

ETT

An Exercise Tolerance Test records the heart’s electrical activity (rate and rhythm) during exercise.
